Access to Present at BAI Payments Connect

BAI Payments Connect ConferenceBig news today at Access. We are excited to announce that Kelly Passey, EVP of business and product development, will be speaking at the BAI Payments Connect Conference & Expo. He’ll be showing off our new mobile rewards app as part of the Payments Innovations Forum, which features 15 groundbreaking technologies in the payments industry.

Our rewards app combines two types of merchant funded rewards: registered card-linked offers and “show your phone” mobile coupons. The app engages users with valuable local content that encourages bank interaction beyond basic account functions. For banks interested in the coming wave of mobile payments, this app is a significant ally in building the kind of mobile engagement that’s going to be required for consumer adoption.

A version of this app was first introduced in late 2012 with the Zions Cash Rewards app.

The BAI Payments Connect Conference & Expo 2013 is being held in Phoenix, Arizona at the Phoenix Convention Center on March 11-13. Kelly will be speaking on March 12 around 1:58 p.m. in room 106 C. If you’re going to be at the conference, come visit us anytime at booth #3 for a complimentary trial of the app.

Loyalty 360There is increasing scrutiny on mobile coupons from not just consumers, but also merchants and financial institutions. What does it all mean, and what can be expected in 2013? Loyalty360.com asked Kelly Passey to chime in with his predictions about the mobile coupon in 2013.

Access Discount Network Surpasses 300,000 Merchant Locations

Heyyy nice deals! The nation’s largest private discount network continues to get bigger and better. We’re excited to announce that the Access Instant Savings network has reached more than 300,000 merchant locations. Our network proudly features regional, in-store offers in 100% of the top 366 metropolitan areas, 100% of the top 576 micropolitan areas, and 94% of all American counties. The good news? In total, 99.6% of people live within a ten mile radius of a great Access deal.

While online spending continues to grow, consumers have shown time and time again that local, in-store content is what moves them – 80% of their disposable dollars are spent within 20 miles of home. We’ve built our network to fit those consumer needs, and our clients are the ones reaping the benefits.

Thanks go out to our team here at Access, our clients and of course, the 300,000+ merchants who help make it all happen.
